Large portion for a main, but the chicken in two seperate mains was very poor quality and virtually inedible. Wish we'd cooked ourselves.
Cash only. Good choice and quick service. Sometimes very busy but you can phone your order through for collection.
Highly recommend the food is by far the best I’ve ever tried and always prepared quick but freshly cooked. Each dish I’ve ordered is to perfection and it’s so tasty.

Ordered Sunday having had 2 previous take aways & made a point in the the order notes of thanking them for their food & service.
Wish I’d not bothered food took 1.50 hrs even though online said would be 45 mins.
When chased order up was told food is on the side just waiting for a driver ( worrying ) eventually arrived 35 mins later no apologies or concept we’d waited nearly 2 hours & obviously food was poor cold & not enjoyable ????
My second visit to Golden Hayes and the food is good quality and really nice. I'm looking forward to further take away meals from here in the future.
Great food, love the satay skewers, chicken chow mein and the fried rice (amongst other things). Food is always fresh and quick. My only two minor irritations are as it’s walk in or telephone order only, sometimes the phone is engaged and it takes you 13-14 tries to get through. Oh and they don’t take card. Yes there’s a cash machine at the post office 2 mins walk down the road, but it’s almost 2022 people! Get with the times!!
2nd time using these guys as not long move to the area. Highly recommended food & service is outstanding. One of the best we've ever used fantastic.
